Yoetzet Tova Warburg Sinensky

Tova Warburg Sinensky, our new Yoetzet Halakha is a graduate of Nishmat’s first U.S. Yoatzot Halacha cohort, serves as the Yoetzet Halacha for the Teaneck Yoetzet Initiative, Young Israel of Toco Hills in Atlanta,  the Yoetzet Initiative of Greater Philadelphia & South Jersey, and previously was the interim Yoetzet Halacha for the RJC in Riverdale, NY.  She serves on the advisory committees of the Jewish Fertility Foundation and Eden Center, has contributed to publications for Yesh Tikva and the Eden Center, and has published a number of articles pertaining to the work of Yoatzot Halacha as well as the experience of women and Avodat Hashem. 


Tova joined the Frisch faculty this fall as a Nach teacher, new teacher mentor, and curriculum coordinator for the Senior Intimacy & Healthy Relationships course which she has taught for over a decade.  She has been involved in the field of Jewish education for fourteen years, and previously worked as Reflection Coach at Kohelet Yeshiva Lab & Middle Schools where she mentored and coached teachers across grade levels and disciplines, in addition to chairing the Talmud departments at Kohelet Yeshiva High School and Ma’ayanot Yeshiva High School for Girls. Tova has authored and edited a number of articles and resources in the fields of education and Taharat Hamishpacha, in addition to lecturing throughout the US and abroad.  She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Stern College Honors Program with a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy, holds a Master’s Degree in Education from the Azrieli Graduate School and holds a certificate from Yeshiva University’s Graduate Program for Advanced Talmudic Studies.  She lives in Teaneck, Nj with her husband and three children.
