Funds and Projects
The Simcha and Chesed Fund
$18 minimum donations or increased amounts of $18.00 each. This is suitable for congratulations, such as graduation, Bar/Bat mitzvah, engagement, marriage, etc. A letter is sent to the honoree or the family of the deceased indicating that a donation has been made.
The Siddur Book Plate Fund
$36 minimum donations and suitable for congratulations, speedy recoveries, and condolences. A letter is sent to the honoree or the family of the deceased indicating that a donation has been made.
The Machzorim Book Plate Fund
$50 minimum donation and suitable for congratulations, speedy recoveries, and condolences. A letter is sent to the honoree or the family of the deceased indicating that a donation has been made.
Tree of Happiness
Each Leaf is $180 and commemorates special family smachot. The perfect way to commemorate significant happy milestones or events, such as births, Bar/Bat mitzvahs, and anniversaries. A letter is sent to the honoree or the family of the deceased indicating that a donation has been made.The beautiful large Tree of Happiness is in the lobby of the Jewish Center.
Bronze Memorial Plaque
Each plaque is $300 each and commemorates family Yahrzeits. It also includes annual lighting of lamps adjacent to the individual plaque and an annual reminder letter of the date of the Yahrzeit.
Peter Strachan Memorial Fund for Jewish Musical Enrichment
Peter Strachan, z”l, was a lover of music. He established this Fund to support musical programs, including guest chazanim, at the Center. Make a minimum donation of $10 in honor of or in memory of someone you know is a music lover. A letter is sent to the honoree or the family of the deceased indicating that a donation has been made.
Kiddush Fund
Sponsorship is available for the weekly Shabbat Kiddush or Shabbat Mevarchim or a Seudah Shlishit. Sponsors will be recognized in the Shabbat Sheet. Please call office at 201-833-0515. Two weeks prior notice is required for sponsorships.
