Annual Shul Dinner Sunday, June 13 at 6:30 PM

The Jewish Center of Teaneck is deeply gratified to announce our honorees for the 2021 Annual Dinner, individuals who, day in and day out, form the backbone of our community.

Our Guests of Honor at this year's dinner will be Ruth and Allen Ezrapour, each of whom works tirelessly on behalf of our congregation. Ruth is the consummate volunteer, and she has served as the matriarch of our fledgling Sephardic minyan. Her love for the shul is boundless, and we are the beneficiaries of her exceptional dedication. Allen, for his part, has served with great distinction as our shul treasurer for so many years. His precision, attention to detail, and profound sense of fiduciary responsibility have been a blessing to our Congregation at so many different levels. Together, Allen and Ruth have been models of communal service, and we look forward to being able to express our collective gratitude to them at the dinner this year.

It is only fitting that our dinner will feature a special dedication to the memory of Rob Rosner, a'h. As so many of you are aware, Rob, amongst so many other services to our community, distributed the kibbudim on Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur, including the aliyot. His memory is thereby inextricably linked to our bimah, which we will be dedicating in his memory at the annual dinner. We wish Lori and the entire family ongoing strength and limitless pride in the memory of the sterling example Rob set for our entire community through his unparalleled decency and menschlichkeit.

The Distingushed Community Service Award will go to Jill Solomon on behalf of the Vaccine Committee. Members of this Committee will be joining us at the dinner and the community at large owes them a debt of gratitude.

This year we are excited to announce we are having a raffle for everyone who registers.
